Fatma Canan Durgungöz

About

Dr. Fatma Canan Durgungöz is an Assistant Professor (Dr. Öğr. Üyesi) in the Department of Special Education, Faculty of Education, at Mersin University, and an Honorary Research Fellow in the Department of Psychology at the University of Bath.

Her research centres on developmental language disorder (DLD), special educational needs and disabilities (SEND), and the ethical use of digital and AI-based tools in special education. Her recent work spans emotion-recognition interventions for children with DLD, Universal Design for Learning for neurodivergent students, and AI-generated gamified learning materials.
